Lucas Martínez (Blanes, 1994) is a saxophonist and jazz composer established in the international music scene. His deep connection with the expression and sound of the instrument has made him stand out as one of the most sought-after saxophonists in the Spanish and Dutch jazz scenes.

Despite his youth, he has been awarded national and international prizes, has participated in more than 50 recordings, and has performed at some of the most prestigious festivals in up to 23 countries. Lucas Martínez balances his schedule as a sideman with his personal project. With 4 publications as a leader and two publications as a co-leader, he continues in a constant search for emotions in music; empathy, belonging, darkness, and life experiences are recurring inspirations that can be felt in his music.
